Scope and audience
RubbleLab is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. This audience statement is not a Google Play content rating. The Android release is in preparation; this page does not announce a published store listing.
The Android version of RubbleLab (package org.corehive.rubblelab) uses Google AdMob for advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable privacy choices. Development builds may use test advertisements. The browser and Linux versions contain no advertising SDK.
Information kept on your device
RubbleLab saves completed experiments, best stars and settings such as language, sound, vibration and animations locally. There are no player accounts, cloud saves or purchases. We do not use Google Analytics or upload puzzle progress. You do not need to give the game your name, email address, contacts or precise location.
Android also keeps a small local record used to prevent duplicate ad rewards. Development builds may record local diagnostics about ad state; the production build disables those diagnostic files. The game does not upload these records as analytics. Browser saves use local browser storage; the website does not receive your saved puzzle progress.
Advertising and privacy choices on Android
Google AdMob and UMP make network requests even when demonstration ads are used. Google's SDK may process IP addresses, approximate location, device/app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Exact handling depends on the SDK, device settings and applicable privacy choices.
We disable the advertising SDK's own crash reporting and publisher first-party identifier. Optional Firebase crash reporting is controlled separately, as described below. This does not mean the advertising SDK sends no data.
On each launch, UMP refreshes the applicable privacy requirements. Where required, it displays privacy choices, and the game offers Ad privacy choices in Settings when UMP requires that entry. Advertisement requests require UMP's current permission; rejecting personalization does not necessarily disable all advertising. The privacy policy and support links remain available in Settings. A rewarded advertisement is optional; retrying an experiment is always free. Occasional full-screen ads may appear when continuing after a completed experiment. Browser and Linux versions do not request ads.
Read Google's Privacy Policy and Google's SDK data disclosure for provider details and controls.
Optional crash reporting on Android
Firebase Crashlytics helps us diagnose Java/Kotlin and native engine crashes. Sending reports is off by default. You can choose Crash reports in the game's Settings independently of advertising consent. Browser and Linux versions do not include Firebase.
If you enable reporting, Crashlytics and its supporting Firebase Installations and Sessions components may process crash traces, crash-time state, device and app information, installation identifiers and diagnostic session information to investigate reliability problems. We do not add Google Analytics, advertising breadcrumbs, player IDs or saved puzzle progress to these reports.
When sending is off, the SDK can still retain reports locally. On a launch with reporting off, the game requests deletion of unsent reports. Enabling reporting may send reports already stored on the device. Turning reporting off takes effect on the next launch; Settings shows that notice. It does not cancel an upload already in progress or delete reports already received by Firebase.
See Firebase privacy and data processing and Firebase SDK data disclosure for provider details. Contact games@corehive.org with questions about reports or data requests. We do not assign a custom player identifier and cannot promise to identify or delete an individual report from a device description alone.
Website hosting
Cloudflare delivers these pages and the browser game. Loading them produces normal network requests; Cloudflare may process information such as IP address, request time, requested URL and browser/network details to deliver and secure the service.
We do not add website analytics, advertising cookies, external video embeds or third-party fonts. Images, fonts and game files are served from this site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for its handling and retention practices.
Information you send to support
If you email games@corehive.org, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the reported issue. Correspondence is retained for handling the request and necessary follow-up.
Please send only relevant information. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots or recordings. We do not need passwords or payment details.
Your choices and deletion
Local game data: on Android, open your device's app settings and clear RubbleLab's storage. In a browser, clear site data for games.corehive.org. This removes local progress and preferences and may also remove saves for other games on the same hostname. There is no server account to delete.
On Linux, close the game and delete its local save folder, normally ~/.local/share/ChainCrash, or $XDG_DATA_HOME/ChainCrash if you use a custom data directory. The folder keeps its original technical name for save compatibility. Deleting it resets progress and settings.
Advertising choices: use the game's Ad privacy choices entry when available and your device's advertising privacy controls. Clearing local saves does not delete information already processed by Google or Cloudflare; their linked policies describe their controls and retention.
Support correspondence: email games@corehive.org to ask about or request deletion of information you shared with Sphere Games. Identify the message or issue concerned without sending sensitive account details. Contact us at the same address if you have a concern involving a person under 18.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when RubbleLab's data practices change and revise the date above. Questions about this policy can be sent to games@corehive.org.

Android
Android
